Returns, Refunds, + CAncellations


RETURNS & ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Customers may cancel transactions at any time prior to midnight of the third business day from the date the invoice is written up. {Civil Code 1689.7) No cancellations are permitted after 72 hours. If the customer purports to cancel an order for custom-made products after 72 hours following the time the order is placed or does not pick up or accept delivery of the custom-made products, the customer shall forfeit the deposit to Aby's Custom Upholstery and shall owe the full balance of the custom-made goods. The customer will also be responsible for paying any banking fees, lawyer's fees, and time that is lost to recuperate the balance owed.

There are no refunds, exchanges, or credits on custom-made orders.

A $40.00 fee will be charged for any check returned for non-sufficient funds. If a stop-payment is made on any check, or credit card transaction, the customer will be responsible for paying any banking fees, lawyer's fees, service fees, and time lost to recuperate funds.

All cancellations for services paid by cash, check or credit card (subject to collection) will be refunded by company check and require up to 4 weeks for processing. There will be no cash refunds.

 

 SHIPPING


HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?

We offer free ground shipping on orders over $100 shipping to the continental U.S. Expedited and rushed delivery services require a separate fee dependent upon the size and quantity of the package.


WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?

Orders are processed and delivered Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays. Please allow 3-5 business days for processing orders, and 1-4 weeks for shipping as quantities are subject to change daily, while most shipments are subject to be shipped same-day. Most orders ship from our warehouse in High Point, NC. FedEx expedited orders placed before 2PM EST will ship the same day.

Any orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will not ship until the following Monday.


WHAT IS THE CUT-OFF TIME FOR EXPEDITED SHIPPING?

Please note only FedEx expedited orders placed before 2PM EST will ship the same day.


DO YOU DELIVER ON SATURDAYS?

At this time we are not able to ship for Saturday delivery. If there is an urgent need, please contact us at info@abysupholstery.com so that we can further assist you.


DO YOU OFFER INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING?

At this time we do not offer international shipping on any of our fabrics or products.


DO YOU SHIP TO PO BOXES OR FPO/APO/DPO ADDRESSES?

Yes! Our team ships orders going to PO Boxes or APO/FPO/DPO addresses via USPS.


WILL MY ENTIRE ORDER SHIP TOGETHER?

All fabric packages will ship together unless quantities changed or are delayed in production.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

Aby's Custom Upholstery is not responsible for any imperfections in wood or framing that have been the result of previous natural wear of furniture being worked on. Aby’s Custom Upholstery is not responsible for damages incurred upon delivery from furniture or fabric vendors purchased directly by the customer. All work shall be picked up within one week of completion. After that time, Aby's Custom Upholstery is not responsible for any damage or loss to the customer's property. Estimates will take into account the possibility of repairs needed, but cannot be fully assessed until the piece is opened and the frame, wood joints, foam, springs, webbing, and any fills are exposed. Customers acknowledge their acceptance of work and quality by signing this contract at the time of delivery. All final payments are due prior to or at the time of delivery. Newly upholstered pieces will not be left if payment is not received before or at the time of delivery. A check or Zelle payment can be made at the time of delivery. A change in costs due to increases in materials used by Aby’s Custom Upholstery may be subject to change at any time; including where appropriate for relevant import tariffs, transport, duties, and other costs. If the customer has requested “Rush” service and provided a deadline date. Aby’s Custom Upholstery does not guarantee project completion by said date. “Rush” service provides streamlined project prioritization, not a deadline completion guarantee. “Rush” service does not include expedited shipping costs. Aby’s Custom Upholstery is not responsible for any imperfections that may turn up in leather hides, natural linens, and organic fabric that are a direct result of manufacturing, shipping, or natural occurrences in cowhides. The only warranties and guarantees provided by Aby's Custom Upholstery with respect to any materials purchased by the customer are those conditions, warranties, and/or guarantees expressly set out herein. Aby's Custom Upholstery is not responsible for: (a) fabric, vinyl, or leather shrinkage, deteriorating or staining due to any cleaning process or coating application (b) fading for any reason including sunlight exposure or wear (c) foam exhaustion because usage varies on a case by case basis (d) dye variations between sample swatches and completed merchandise. e) workmanship of referrals to services outside of Aby’s Custom Upholstery. Aby's Custom Upholstery disclaims all conditions, warranties, and guarantees that are not expressly set forth herein and any implied conditions, warranties, and/or guarantees under applicable legislation. The estimated date of delivery is only an estimate of the approximate date the order is expected to be completed and is subject to change. All clerical errors contained in this contract are subject to correction. If “single person” option delivery is chosen, someone who is physically capable of carrying 50+ lbs. should be present at the time of delivery/pickup. Aby’s Custom Upholstery employees have a right to not proceed with loading/unloading if there is a concern for possible injury or unsafe conditions. Pick up and delivery is subject to reasonable and safe access. Hoisting and any other extraordinary measures necessary to accomplish delivery are at the customer's risk, the cost to be paid by the customer at or before the time of delivery. A re-delivery charge, equal to the original cost, will be charged if the customer is unable to or does not accept a scheduled delivery and a second delivery trip is required.
